車窓から見る風景は現れては過ぎ去っていきます。風景は一瞬にして目前から去ってしまうけれど、自分の左にも右にもそして前方にも後方にも風景は広がっているのだと実感します。エアーブラシで描いたパネルを、前面に張った無数の糸が覆っています。糸にも一部着色を施しています。糸の微妙な陰影や質感が、描かれた画面と呼応して動きやぶれなどの映像的効果を与えます。
A scenery view from the train window changes every moment before our eyes, but the scenery spreads in all directions centering around us.
Numberless threads are held tight in front of the panel that is painted with an airbrush. Some threads are partly painted.
Subtle shadows and texture of the threads, together with the airbrushed surface of the panel, give visual effects such as movement and blurring.
